Using Compute@Edge to mitigate the Acropalypse

Hi! Came on here to share @triblondon’s tutorial showing how to use Compute@Edge to mitigate “Acropalypse” by filtering PNGs of image data that users likely don’t want and/or know is being uploaded to apps they use.

Acropalypse aside (sounds like an agricultural disaster lol), I think this issue should be top of mind for all software makers looking out for their users because of the rising popularity of trying out AI image creation/manipulation tools helping normalize uploading images anywhere without not exactly knowing what’s being done with them. When vulnerabilities like Acropalypse come about, we’re on the hook for having those protections already in place.
