I have a free trial today ($50), after that’s done do I go into Self-Service (pay-as-you-go)?
What’s the difference between Self-Service vs. Packages in terms of requests per month, number of services etc.?

One thing to note is that the $50 is per month, so you can use up to $50/month of delivery or compute absolutely free. So each month your limit resets.
We currently offer PAYG for full-site delivery with a $50/month commit + usage, which includes 5 TLS domains (up to 2 managed TLS domains and up to 2 mutual TLS domains). Here are some instructions on how to upgrade your account.

Is a TLS domain included in the developer account ($50 per month free)?
What about WAF, what do I have to do/pay to get it?
You get 2 TLS domains with the developer account.
To purchase NGWAF, we currently do not offer a self-serve purchase option. I can connect you with Sales if you’re interested in getting setup with a POC (proof of concept) or would like to go ahead and purchase.

Ah ok, so free account = PAYG in terms of what’s included, right (PAYG is when the $50 isn’t enough and you want a minimum $50/month commitment so you won’t be capped)?
What about “Requests per Month” and “Purges Frequency” for free/PAYG?
We currently do not cap purely on requests, so whatever combination of requests, bandwidth, etc. gets you to $50 each month. No limit on purge frequency.
