Never Miss a Critical Configuration Change Again — Introducing Audit Log Alerts

We’re excited to announce Audit Log Alerts, now live in the Fastly control panel. You can now configure real-time alerts for configuration changes across CDN, Compute, and Security so your team can catch unauthorized changes and faulty deployments before they turn into incidents.

What’s new?

Audit Log Alerts brings configurable, real-time alerting for audit log events directly into your existing Observability Alerts workflow. This means:

  • Instant alerts for critical changes like WAF mode changes, VCL deploys, and privileged account creation

  • Granular control to scope alerts by event type, individual service, workspace, or groups of services and workspaces

  • Alerts route directly to the tools you already use with 10+ integration types including newly added Datadog, Jira issue, Opsgenie, Jira service management, and Splunk OnCall.

Ready to get started?

Head to Observability > Alert Definitions in your Fastly control panel. From there you can create your first audit log alert, configure your integrations, and scope alerts to the services and workspaces that matter most to your team.
