Product Release Update: Granular User Access Control for NG-WAF & Admin Roles - these launches bring NG-WAF users into the Fastly control panel and remove the need for Superuser in most day-to-day user management workflows.

What’s New?

  • For NG-WAF Imported Roles (Owner, Admin, User, Observer) are now visible and enforced in the Fastly Control Panel

  • Existing SigSci users are automatically mapped to these new NG-WAF Imported Roles during migration

  • A new User Admin role manages users across the Fastly Control Panel

  • User management is now separated from product access to support least-privilege governance and reduce reliance on Superuser access
