503 Backend Unavailable with AWS S3 Static Site

Hi there!

I was previously using Fastly with a static site hosted on http://glitch.com, but that is now defunct. I moved everything to a static website hosted bucket on S3. The domain is https://d01.me .

I deactivated the CDN service for https://d01.me on fastly and created a new one with the new origin, http://d01.me.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com (bucket = d01.me). The new service is active.

S3 seems to be configured properly, with all salient files being publicly accessible via their object URL.

When visiting the site, I get 503 Backend Unavailable.

I feel like there’s something simple I need to do, but it’s not obvious. I have a TLS cert service subscription on Fastly, too. Do I need to re-do that, too?

EDIT: The issue was that TLS was enabled, but S3 endpoints aren’t configured for HTTPS. I disabled TLS and we’re all good.
